Our Annual Summer Holiday Break, this year to the Yorkshire Dales.
Beautiful surroundings and we were lucky with the weather.
Personally, I have historically walked in "God's County", but we managed to visit several places which I have never crossed my horizon before.
The Fountains Abbey Estate is a World Heritage Site and is stunning.
Bolton Abbey is another good one.
Afternoon Tea on the Steam Train from Embsay to Bolton Abbey was something to be repeated.
Ripon offered both an uplifting cathedral and sobering Workhouse Museum.
This really is a great area with little traffic using all but the most major roads.
A fabulous trip, and Jenny and I will be back.
