London weekend, ABBA Voyage and the City,6-7 January 2024
Jenny and I agreed to get each other a ticket to the ABBA Voyage show for Christmas.
By way of review, the hologram 1979 style band "ABBAtars" and accompanying visuals were truly stunning and age show was brilliant. We watched with wide-eyed wonder at what was unfolding. I knew that ABBA are very protective of their brand and product quality but ABBA Voyage exceeded every expectation.
Incredible work. No spoiler photos were allowed in the arena, so you will need to take my word on that, but we have already spoken about going again.

As the show was in Stratford, we thought we would make an event of it and stay in London overnight. I plumped for a Premier Inn close to the Tower of London.
We had a nice walk around St. Katherine's Dock and the Tower area before braving the Docklands Light Railway to Pudding Mill Lane and the ABBA Arena.
After the show, Jenny and I got back to the hotel and then went out to have a pizza for dinner.
On Sunday morning, we had breakfast and then strolled through the City and back to London Bridge for a train home.
We had a brilliant weekend.
